Lagrimas del Valle is a new tequila designed to showcase how agave reacts to "terroir." Presented in vintages from different “ranchos unicos” (single estates), this delicious agave spirit comes to us from the Rosales family, best known for Tequila Cascahuin (which has a cult following). The production process and overall profile for Lagrimas was developed in collaboration with the Rosales family, along with other agave experts in Mexico and the US, with the goal of attaining the fullest expression of the agave’s character.
The 2022 Palo Verde Plata reveals rich agave character and sweetness throughout. Notes of tropical fruits – papaya and overripe mango – balanced with robust minerality and a subtle lemongrass note on the finish. Lingering but delicate and lightly sweet finish. Roasted agave through and through.
